3-Day Mount Meru Climbing
Rising majestically within Arusha National Park, Mount Meru is Tanzania's second highest peak (4,562m/15,967ft) and Africa's fifth tallest. Often chosen as a preparatory climb for Kilimanjaro, Meru offers a technically demanding yet rewarding ascent. Over three days, trekkers traverse lush forests, volcanic ridges, and alpine zones, encountering wildlife such as giraffes, buffalos, antelopes, and baboons along the way. A professional park ranger accompanies every climb, ensuring both safety and an enriched wilderness experience.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by our driver-guide. After a short introduction to your trek, you'll transfer to Arusha for your overnight stay. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy a complimentary city tour to explore Arusha's vibrant streets and markets.
