7-Day Mount Meru Trekking & Safari Adventure
This 7-day adventure combines the thrill of trekking Mount Meru, Tanzania's second-highest peak, with the excitement of a classic safari across Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. Over three days, you'll ascend Meru's volcanic slopes, encountering diverse wildlife and breathtaking views. Afterward, embark on a four-day safari to witness the Big Five and explore Tanzania's most iconic landscapes. Guided by an experienced English-speaking driver in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser, you'll enjoy full-board accommodations, mineral water, binoculars, and carefully selected lodges.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your driver-guide for a warm welcome. Transfer to Arusha for overnight stay. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy a complimentary city tour to explore Arusha's vibrant streets, markets, and gardens.

Begin your trek at Momella Gate in Arusha National Park. The trail winds through fig tree forests alive with monkeys, giraffes, and buffalo. Picnic lunch is enjoyed near Moiyo Waterfall before continuing to Miriakamba Hut (2,514m). The trek takes 7–8 hours, covering about 14 km.

Miriakamba Hut
Climb steadily through montane forest and heathland to Saddle Hut (3,566m). After lunch and rest, take an acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820m) for sweeping views of Kilimanjaro and the plains below. The trek covers 7 km and takes about 5–6 hours.

Saddle Hut
Begin your midnight ascent past Rhino Point, reaching Meru Peak (4,562m) at sunrise. Celebrate with breathtaking views before descending to Saddle Hut for brunch, then continue to Momella Gate. Transfer back to Arusha for overnight stay.

Drive to Tarangire, famous for its elephant herds and baobab trees. Explore diverse landscapes of savannah and swamps, with chances to spot lions, leopards, and giraffes along the Tarangire River.

Descend into the world's largest intact caldera, home to over 30,000 animals including elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and flamingos. Enjoy a full-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
