7-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climb – Rongai Route
The Rongai Route is the only trail that approaches Kilimanjaro from the northern side, near the Kenyan border. Increasingly popular among trekkers, it offers a quieter, more secluded journey compared to other routes. Its gradual ascent makes it an excellent alternative to Marangu, especially for climbers seeking a remote adventure. With less rainfall on the northern side, Rongai is particularly suitable during the rainy season. Over seven days, you'll traverse forests, moorlands, alpine deserts, and finally reach the icy summit of Uhuru Peak (5,895m) the Roof of Africa.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by our driver-guide. After a short introduction, transfer to Arusha for overnight stay. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a complimentary city tour to explore Arusha's vibrant streets and gardens.
