7-Day Kilimanjaro Climb via Machame Route & 3-Day Luxury Safari
The Machame Route, famously called the "Whiskey Route", is one of the most scenic and adventurous paths to Kilimanjaro's summit. Over seven days, trekkers experience lush rainforests, volcanic ridges, alpine deserts, and the icy summit zone. The extended itinerary allows for better acclimatization, increasing the chances of a successful summit. After conquering Africa's highest peak, you'll embark on a 3-day luxury safari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro, where the Big Five roam freely. This combination offers the ultimate Tanzanian adventure: mountain triumph followed by wildlife immersion.
After a scenic drive through villages and coffee plantations, registration is completed at Machame Gate. The trek begins through dense rainforest alive with monkeys, tropical birds, and towering fig trees. The trail winds steadily upward, crossing streams and ridges until reaching Machame Camp (2,850m).
