3-Day Wild Wonders Safari – Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Manyara
Embark on a thrilling three-day safari that captures the essence of Tanzania's wilderness. This journey takes you through three of the country's most celebrated parks: Tarangire National Park, with its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees; the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's Natural Wonders; and Lake Manyara National Park, famed for its tree-climbing lions and lush forests. With private 4×4 vehicles, professional guides, and cozy midrange lodges, this safari blends adventure, comfort, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome from your driver-guide at your lodge or airport. After a short briefing, you'll set off with picnic lunch boxes for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park.
Named after the Tarangire River, which flows through the park and sustains wildlife during the dry season, Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse landscapes ranging from savannah to seasonal swamps. Lions may be seen stalking prey, while leopards often lounge in acacia branches. Bird enthusiasts will delight in spotting hundreds of species, from hornbills to raptors.
After a full day of game drives, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, a breathtaking amphitheater that hosts over 30,000 animals year-round.
Game drives here are extraordinary, with opportunities to spot the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and the rare black rhino. The crater floor also supports zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and flamingos shimmering in the crater lakes. Raptors such as eagles and buzzards soar overhead, adding to the drama of the landscape. Lunch is enjoyed at the Ngoitoktok picnic site near the hippo pool, where you can relax and take in the scenery.
Return to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Marera Valley Lodge or Similar
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a lush paradise nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Famous for its tree-climbing lions and large baboon troops, the park also hosts elephants, giraffes, hippos, and countless bird species. The alkaline lake attracts flamingos and pelicans, while hot springs bubble in the southern reaches of the park.
Enjoy a full morning of game drives, pausing for lunch in the park's scenic picnic areas. In the afternoon, transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight, concluding your safari adventure.
